My oh my, how time flies when you’re lost in Wonderland. It’s sad but it’s true people; this Friday is the last Rocks Village Bizarre!
So in honour of the end of this utterly fabulous event, I’ve devised a little list just for you. It’s my pick of the top ten things you must do in order to get the most out of your last night down the rabbit hole. It’s your gateway to a totally fun, frenetic and fantastic evening.

At the Rocks Village Bizarre, theatre is served quirky, unconventional and intimate, with a good dash of humour. The basics are still there of course - great performance that’s engaging and exciting - but the format is all new.

Oh, the people you’ll meet when you stumble upon a Lost Laneway at the Rocks Village Bizarre! Take a trip down memory lane with George Cribb‘sTrue Tales and pull back the Crimson curtain to Greenway Lane for some rapid-fire performances. Stimulate your senses with a Blind Date through the Bizarre, or enjoy the audio theatre of Crowds Above You.
I’d like to consider myself a bit of a Doctor Who fan.
Childhood games of chase always involved Daleks shouting “EXTERMINATE!”, my mum owned a Tardis teapot, and every evening we’d gather ‘round the telly for our regular instalment of the Doctor’s adventures in time and space.
But whilst my admiration for the Doctor is bigger on the inside than it is on the outside, others wear their Time Lord love loud and proud on their sleeves (or on their 20-foot long scarf, if it’s chilly).
One place you’d find a real Doctor Who die-hard (aka “Whovians”) is at the Doctor Who Club of Australia (DWCA). They’re a non-profit organisation that keeps Doctor Who love regenerating across the nation.
And the great news is that they’ll be materialising at the Rocks Village Bizarre this Friday night, as part of the Go Geeks event!
